Le Domaine de Lonvilliers is a lovely four star resort nestled on a sheltered cove of Anse Marcel beach on the northern tip of French St Martin.  Offering a wonderful combination of European sophistication and laid back Caribbean cool. 

The resort is surrounded by lush tropical gardens with graceful palms, colorful Flamboyant trees, profusions of fragrant and exotic flowers and opens to the soft white sands and clear, warm waters of the Caribbean Sea.

This gorgeous bay faces Creole Rock, one of St. Martin's top diving spots and the neighboring island of Anguilla. Chefs are as good as national heroes in France and Christophe Leroy is one who has managed to build his own gastronomic empire.  Today he is considered to be one of the greatest chefs of French gastronomy and his restaurants in Saint Tropez, Marrakech, and the prestigious Moulins de Ramatuelle, have built his reputation to world renown.  The celebrated chef has now taken on a new project and is focusing his wisdom and creativity on “Le Domaine de Lonvilliers”, an exceptional piece of Heaven found on the northern tip of St Martin…  

The new managment team brought in from St Tropez and other Christophe Leroy properties is focused on service.  There goal is to bring a five star experience to each guest.  If you seek a destination offering rest and relaxation along with world class dining both on and off the resort...you've come to the right place.

Spacious guest rooms are located in five 3-story buildings. Rooms on the ground floor have private patios and direct garden access. Upper floor rooms feature large private balconies overlooking the sea or tropically landscaped grounds. Most rooms have a full or partial sea view.

All accommodations include one king bed or two twin beds, premium cotton bedding, abundant pillows, flat-panel TVs, complimentary wireless Internet access, and luxurious Bulgari bath products.

Each room or suite has a large round soaking tub in the bedroom separated by a curtain (suites also have separate showers), twin marble sinks, Bathrobes, slippers. Minibar, safe, hair dryer, individually controlled air conditioning.  Contemporary Creole decor includes sunny Caribbean colors, local artwork and furnishings of exotic woods. All rooms/suites on 2nd & 3rd floors have elevator access.

Your day begins with a fabulous open air breakfast buffet from Le Domaine’s new restaurant (a la Chef Leroy) which sits right off the beach.  From there you can move to one of the comfortable, contemporary chaise lounge chairs and enjoy the sun, sea and beach side cocktail service. 

Other highlights include a free form pool, water sports, and spa services, such as Balinese massage in a beachfront cabana. For real luxury reserve a Beachfront Gazebo for your own private shaded spot on the beach.  Take a nap with privacy curtins, enjoy full restaurant and bar service all for just $150 euros per day.

The marina adjacent to the hotel rents sailboats, kayaks, personal watercraft, motorboats, and other vessels. Deep-sea fishing charters are also available.

The fitness center at St Martin's Le Domaine de Lonvilliers is equipped with cycles, elliptical trainers, and multi-fitness machines. For those seeking relaxtion or beauty treaments there is a full service spa.  There is a trendy boutique with lots of well priced specialty items from St Tropez for your shopping pleasure.

Your vacation can actually begin at the airport where you will be met ($45 PP each way) outside the arrival terminal and transported to a near by marina where you board a boat (covered)  which takes you to the hotel marina.  From there you are shuttled by golf cart to the front desk.  The whole trip takes only 25 minutes or so…  and it’s fun!  Boats depart on schedule at 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM.  If wish a private charter can be arranged for $225 at any time up to 5:30 PM.  Boat transfers cannot operate after dark.
