Many clients of St Martin Reservation Center, ask us what there is to do in St Martin. This brief article gives information on some of the activities you can enjoy in St Maarten.

Let me start by saying that St Martin is a great choice for a fun filled vacation. There is much to do on this beautiful island, including water sports, 36 public white sand beaches, European and American Duty free shopping, 400 + restaurants, casinos, night life, horseback riding, golf, jet ski excursions, sailing excursions, excursions to other islands and more.

The weather will be about 85 degrees and the crystal clear waters are perfect year round!

ST MARTIN THE DESTINATION

St. Martin is a favorite destination for many travelers. In fact more than 50% of our guests return every year. Why? Not only is the weather perfect year round and the water fabulously clear and warm on this tropical jewel of an island, but also because there is lots to do.

Gorgeous white sand beaches (including the famous Orient Beach, the "St Tropez" of the Caribbean), the best (lowest priced/great selection of high end American and European products) duty free shopping in the Caribbean, casino gambling (more than a dozen), 400 + restaurants (many come just for this), a thriving night life, all the water sports you can imagine, beautiful sunsets, West Indian markets, golf, several spas... and much more! All of this just minutes away from your peaceful, private and spacious villa.

Plus, on this 37 square mile (the size of Manhattan) "Friendly Island" ... most everyone speaks English!

Dinner in Grand Case....40 + restaurants and galleries on one beach front street...park ..stroll..chose a restaurant....dine...shop after dinner...great evening..
Casinos....on the Dutch side....

Sky Bay...roof top oasis on Maho...10 min from your villa...music...dancing....cool people...great after dinner from 7:30 on....

Bliss or Tantra..hot club scene....midnight till dawn...

Lunch on Orient Beach...many restaurant choices....beach chairs...most animated beach on island...

Are you a sailor? Rent a bareback sail boat and go to sea around the island...

Here is your dilemma...if you are only going for one week or so, you will have to choose between the many fun activities available to you and the beautiful villa or condo you reserved...oh well I guess you have had tougher decisions.....-:)

These are just a few of the many activities..but the accommodation you rent may be so comfortable with pool, furnished out door area, big screen tv, dvd, ....you may not want to leave the house very much ...

Oh by the way, the 37 beaches on the island are not far from any villa, hotel or condo...some commercial and some that feel private...lovely to walk or swim......
Those you who reserved a casual beach front villa or a luxury condo, will have a kitchen with everything you need....most with open floor plan to the living room and the outdoor patio and outdoor dining room....grocery stores are nearby ...with everything much like home...liquor, wine, beer is in groc store....no tax or duty means the spirits are cheap...

If you have rented a villa, of course the wives will not want to cook ...so Surprise the wives... I recommend a private dinner party for one night in the villa with a private chef...cost about the same as dining out...BYOB to save money...very romantic in your villa in the out door dining room.
