SXM DOET at the Indigo Bay Community GardenJoin us for 2 days of volunteering at the Indigo Bay Community Garden on March 20th and 1st and participate in the biggest event of it’s kind ever held on SXM. We’re very excited to have received funding from the Oranje Fonds and look forward to working with volunteers from all over the island and of all ages.

With three projects running we have something for everybody.  Stop by for an hour or join us for the whole day.  Bring the whole family.  We’ll provide refreshments and a great, healthy lunch for you to enjoy.  When you’re done you can even head down to the beach at Indigo bay to cool off in the sea.

Permaculture Planting:  Learn about Permaculture as you plant some of the fruit and nut trees in what will be our island’s first ever food forest.  Click HERE to register for this project.

Pretty Painted Plant Markers:  If you prefer something more sedate you can paint plant markers that will be used throughout the edible landscape and help people to identify the wide range of food plants we’ll be growing.  Click HEREto register for this project.
Create the Farm Shop:  Help us to renovate one of the existing structures on the site and turn it into our Farm Shop where we’ll sell a wide range of organic plants and produce.  Click HERE to register for this project.
