• The Causeway across the lagoon is scheduled to open December 15th.  The island's Rotary clubs have been given tentative approval to host a historic "first to walk the bridge" fundraiser on December 14th.  

• St. Maarten has been featured by CNN as one of the top five destinations in the world for beach-goers.
